Events:

    • Bazaar
      • Food and Drinks Bazaar
        With all kinds of Indonesian food and beverages available at the festival, the food and drinks bazaar is going to be one of the things you cannot miss during the festival. From spicy dishes to sweet desserts, there is something for everyone.
      • Stalls Competition
        May the best stall win! The stall owners who can decorate and maintain cleanliness of their stall best will be crowned the winner of the stalls competition in Indofest.
      • Food Showcase
        As soon as you enter the Indofest kampoeng, you can instantly see the range of food available in Indofest. The stall holders will prepare one dish that will be presented at the entrance of Indofest for the convenience of the attendees.
      • Souvenir Bazaar
        By selling both Indonesian and Indofest souvenirs in the bazaar, the attendees can both see and buy wonderful Indonesian products and relive memories of the festival in the comfort of their own homes.
    • Arts
      • Bakat Spektakuler: Indonesian Contemporary Talent Show
        Indofest 2015-Indonesian Contemporary Talent ShowSponsored by BNI, Bakat Spektakuler invites you to perform the fusion of Indonesian traditional arts and contemporary performances in the upcoming Indofest! Some examples for this are singing western song Sinden style and dancing Sajojo combined with Salsa dance. The selected best 5 performances will also get a chance to perform and win an interesting prize at BNI anniversary. Performers of any nationality are warmly welcome! Come join us. For registration as well as any inquiries, please contact us at arts@indofest.co.uk.

      • Arts Performances
        Our traditional performing arts visualize Indonesia’s deeply rooted history, authentic identities and values. On the main stage, we will showcase various cultural performances such as traditional songs and dances— two of the performances are Poco-Poco and Yospan dances, which are interactive and engaging audiences.
      • Photography Competition and Exhibition
        Nothing provides a more sophisticated and full picturesque of Indonesia rather than authentic pictures captured. This photography competition will invite people to picture Indonesia in a frame. Join the competition by uploading your beautiful pictures to our website, rules and regulation are available to for you to look. Photographs will later be exhibitted on the main event day.
      • Putra Putri Nusantara
        Putra Putri Nusantara (PPN) are Indonesian males and females dressed in Indonesian traditional clothes. They will act as cultural agent who will provide you with information about Indonesian culture. So, if you have questions about Indonesian culture that you are wondering about, feel free to approach them and address your question. Or even, if you simply want to take pictures with them, feel free to do so!
      • Photo Booth
        There will be a corner of artsy Indonesian ethnic decoration where you can take pictures, and try out Indonesian traditional clothes. You can also have your picture taken with a Polaroid camera, so that you can directly get a print out of that for a small amount of pounds.
      • Gamelan Workshop
        Fancy learning a bit about how to play traditional musics instruments, which have been played in palaces in Java and Bali since centuries ago? Or, you simply just want to enjoy traditional soothing Javanese music? Join a snap lesson here!
      • Batik Workshop
        Batik refers to a cloth dying technique that is commonly used across Indonesian archipelago. While being commonly practiced in several other countries like Malaysia, India, and the Philippines, Indonesian batik-pattern is recognized as Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Getting curious about this worldly renowned ethnic cloth? Come to our workshop and enjoy the culture first hand from the expert!
    • Folk Games
      Up for learning Indonesian culture as well as having fun? We have both! In this booth, you can get information about Indonesian traditional games as well as experiencing these games yourselves. The games include dakon, kelereng, bakiak, and tarik tambang among others.
    • Sports Competition
      Indonesian Festival 2015 will hold three exciting sports competitions: 7-a-side Football, 3-on-3 Basketball, and Badminton including Men Single and Double, Women Double, as well as Mixed Double. The scoring system that will be used is based on medal-and-points system for each sport category. There are three medals for the 1st Winner, 2nd Winner, and 3rd Winner, which are Gold, Silver, and Bronze respectively.
