Indonesian Education Attaché Visit

UCLan was delighted to welcome Professor Dr T A Fauzi Soelaiman, the Education Attaché from the Indonesian Embassy in London, on Monday 17 June 2013. Professor Soelaiman met with the Vice Chancellor, Dr Malcolm McVicar, Ben Chapman, UCLan International Special Adviser and UCLan colleagues to give an overview of Indonesia, current and upcoming activities and to discuss developments at UCLan and UCLan’s work in Indonesia to date.

The Education Attaché was shown the Creative Focus 2013 graduate show by the Dean of the School of Art, Design and Performance and then met staff from UCLan’s Lancashire Business School and School of Sport, Tourism and the Outdoors. Professor Soelaiman was also given tours of the Sports Science and biomechanics facilities and the JB Firth Building forensic and chemistry laboratories.
