Physics PhD studentship Scotland/UK

The following is an information of a PhD scholarship offered for students studying physics (website: http://apply.supa.ac.uk/prize).

All eligible Indonesian students in the UK or students in Indonesia may apply:

Physics PhD studentship in Scotland / UK

SUPA, supported by the Scottish Funding Council, a pooling of physics research and post-graduate education in 8 Scottish universities. Each year the Graduate School runs a SUPA Prize PhD Studentship competition. The SUPA Prize Studentships are prestigious and competitive awards intended to attract outstanding physics students from around the world, irrespective of nationality, to study for a PhD in Scotland.

Prize studentships will be awarded competitively and up to fifteen awards will be available this year for outstanding candidates. The studentships provide support for tuition fees, a stipend and a travel grant for a three-and-a-half-year period (3.5 years).

In this year, the 2012/13 SUPA Prize Studentship Competition opens again for applicants.

The deadline for submitting applications is 23:59 GMT Thursday 31st January 2013.

References for any submitted applications will continue to be accepted until Friday 1st February 2013 at 23:59.
